This training is an immersive experience designed for those who want to deepen their practice, understand the body and mind, and live yoga as a way of life. Held in the Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru, within a family ashram setting, the program integrates traditional yoga philosophy, daily practice, and a grounded, embodied approach to teaching and living yoga.
Chaitanya brings over 35 years of experience in traditional yoga, philosophy, and devotional practice, offering depth, lineage, and a strong foundation in the roots of yoga.
Shyam brings a therapeutic and integrative approach, weaving together Ayurveda, yoga therapy, and embodied practice to support students in understanding the body, healing, and applying yoga in daily life.
Together, they offer a balanced training that combines tradition and practical application, creating a space for real transformation, integration, and connection.
Our approach is rooted in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, offering a dynamic and structured practice that builds strength, heat, and internal focus.
This is complemented by the alignment principles of Anusara Yoga, bringing precision, stability, and a deeper awareness into each posture.
All is taught within a Bhakti-based approach, emphasizing presence, deep listening, and connection—creating a space where practice becomes both personal and transformative.
This is further supported by breathwork, meditation, and an understanding of the body through Ayurveda, allowing students to develop a practice that is strong, sustainable, and aligned with their individual.
Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is structured in three progressive phases, supporting a natural evolution of practice, understanding, and teaching.
Cycle 1: Foundations
Build a strong base in yoga philosophy, personal practice, and alignment.
Develop awareness in your body and establish consistency in your practice.
Cycle 2: Application
Apply alignment and techniques within daily practice.
Begin integrating physical, energetic, and philosophical aspects of yoga into both your practice and teaching.
Cycle 3: Integration & Teaching
Refine your ability to teach with clarity and confidence.
Create and lead classes, receive feedback, and begin to embody yoga as a lived and shared experience.
Throughout the training, students are supported with a therapeutic understanding of the body through Ayurveda, as well as a Bhakti-based approach rooted in presence and deep listening.
This training offers a comprehensive, embodied, and spiritually grounded curriculum to support your personal growth, inner clarity, and teaching ability.

Chaitanya is the International Director of the Bhakti Yoga School, with ashrams in Peru and Colombia, and over 35 years of dedicated experience in yoga and spiritual practice.
Originally from Peru, he began his path at a young age and has spent decades living, studying, and teaching in ashrams across South America, the United States, and India. His teaching is rooted in traditional yoga philosophy, daily practice, and lived experience.
He was among the first South Americans to be certified in Vedic astrology (Jyotish) in India, and integrates this knowledge into his work in a practical and accessible way.
Chaitanya has studied with respected teachers such as Pattabhi Jois and John Friend, while also being deeply shaped by traditional ashram life and his initiation into the Vedic lineage through his teacher, S. Atulananda Acharya.
Over the years, he has guided thousands of students and trained teachers from around the world. Many of his students continue to share yoga in their own communities, creating a strong and connected international network.
His approach is simple, grounded, and consistent—offering yoga as a path that can be lived and integrated into daily life, with discipline, devotion, and clarity.

The two hundred hour teacher training with the Bhakti Yoga School is not what you expect, it is more. During my time in the Teacher Training I not only found peace, I found challenge and resolution, I found experimentation and growth; I found what I had been searching for without knowing I was looking for it.
