Recommendations

  • Bring socks and a jacket or something warm because it can get cold sometimes.
  • Bring comfortable shoes and sandals, as we must enter some areas of the ashram barefoot, and it will be easier to take off your shoes if you wear sandals.
  • Comfortable clothing.
  • An umbrella for the rain.
  • Snacks in case you want to eat something in addition to the meals included in the package.
  • Bring a thermos of water to stay hydrated.
  • If you have a yoga mat, bring it. If you don’t, we can lend you one.
  • Bring sunscreen and repellent (natural sunscreen in a cream, stick, or roll-on format is even better, as this way we avoid contamination from aerosols).

Don't bring to the Ashram

  • Foods based on animal meat (any type of animal) and eggs are not allowed.
  • Butter, yogurt, cheese, and milk are fine.
  • Coffee, alcohol, cigarettes, vapes, and tobacco are not allowed.
  • Do not bring or come under the influence of ancestral medicines such as mambe, ambil, yage, ayahuasca, mushrooms, marijuana, etc., or any type of hallucinogenic substance.
  • This is a sacred space and we must treat it as such.

Ashram Rules

We ask that you follow the following rules to maintain harmony and promote growth and transformation during your stay.

Respect the peaceful atmosphere of the Center by choosing positive actions, words and attitudes.

All Ashram participants agree to be punctual in the morning for the meditation and yoga program.

This is a 100% alcohol, cigarette and drug free space.
We encourage and invite you not to drink, smoke, drink coffee or use drugs during your stay so that you can get the most out of your stay here.

This is a lacto-vegetarian home. We ask that you do not consume animal products (except dairy products) while on the premises. No meat or egg on the property.

We ask that you treat this space as a temple and keep public spaces and your room clean.
This includes the type and volume of your music and keeping your personal belongings out of public spaces.

Avoid playing loud music.
Noble silence from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. This means we observe silence to reflect, meditate, and respect the rest and meditation schedules of others.

We close the main gate of the Ashram at 8:30pm

If you are participating in an Ashram program you can decide to go out in the afternoons or evenings.
However we recommend you to focus on the yoga course and to follow the vegetarian, caffeine and drug free lifestyle even outside the Ashram.

If you have any difficulty with someone from the center (volunteer, student or teacher) or a personal problem, please talk to someone from the team as soon as the problem arises.
Difficulties between people in a group are usually cases of misunderstanding or lack of communication and can be easily resolved.

Volunteer Program

Volunteers help for a few hours in the morning and afternoon, primarily in the kitchen and general cleaning, or by sharing their own inspirations.
